Sainte-Adresse’s main beach begins at the Regatta Promenade (the limit with Le Havre beach) and extends to the end of the “Avenue Foch”. It is divided into many groynes (for beach protection) and extends for about 1 km. The beach is a large pebble beach, uncomfortable to walk on (beach shoes recommended). At the end of the François Lebel Promenade (near the Boulevard Foch roundabout), there is a lifeguard station equipped for people with reduced mobility.
Parking on the seafront is quite difficult in the summer season (many pedestrian areas and one-way streets). You can park on “rue Taconet” or “Foch”.
