Our opinion on the Porto Beach
Porto Beach is located in the town of Ota in the marine of Porto. Separated by the port (departure point for shuttles to Scandola and Piana), the view of the tower of Porto and the Gulf is beautiful. This beach is the only monitored beach in summer, and also the largest and most accessible in the Gulf of Porto. It is covered in pebbles. It is close to many shops, hotels and restaurants.
Access is directly through the marine of Porto by the bridge spanning the harbour. There are many possibilities concerning parking (paid). It is also accessible by car beyond the marine (follow the D81 to Piana) by following the directions to the left bank.

From Calvi, the view of the marine of Porto in the foreground is panoramic with its tower perched on a rock, the port between the marine of the beach and the main beach of Porto opening on the creeks of Piana.
There are lots of restaurants in the marine of Porto (in the foreground in the picture). The small beach in the marine prohibits swimming. One will have to go to the beach behind the tower (visible in this photo). A bridge links the two banks.
We are here in the port (there are many shuttles to visit the Scandola reserve and the Creeks of Piana).
There is a first aid station open in summer in the centre of this beach.
