Riva Bella Beach in Ouistreham stretches east of the ferry terminal (in the channel) to Colleville-Montgomery Beach in the west, that is to say 2.5 km of fine sand. The beach is divided into three areas: eastern, central and western area.
The eastern area is not supervised in summer (karting circuit to the ferry terminal). Dogs are allowed provided they are on leash (swimming allowed).
The central area stretches to Corneille Avenue. There is a first aid station in summer (near the Casino - aid station # 1). This is the most central and widest beach area.
The western area stretches from Cornelius Avenue to Colleville-Montgomery Beach. There is a first aid station on Lamartine Street (aid station # 2).
The beach is accessible to disabled people (provision of tiralo at the aid station n°2)
Note that dogs are allowed on the whole beach from early October until late May. One can also enjoy sand yachting on the beach (allowed on the entire beach except when swimming is supervised, restrictions in summer).
