The big Dieppe Beach is located on the left bank of the harbor. It extends across the cliffs of the Cote d'Albatre to the dam near the harbor, or about 1.6 kilometers of pebbled beach. Very wide, we are guaranteed to find a place to lay out our towels even in the middle of summer. Near the casino and the Dieppe chateau, we find many activities: games for kids, pools, etc. In the summer, bathing huts are installed along the beach. They are usually rented out for the season and it can be very difficult to rent one. Many traveling vendors come to this beach to sell their goods on the promenade.
To get to this beach follow signs for Dieppe Centre (D925). We find several parking lots along the beach (on the two ends) or along the road.
Dogs are allowed on this beach, on the extremities, outside of lifeguarding zones.
