Located in the area of Caux, Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer is a small seaside resort full of charm and very family orientated (not to be confused with the resort of St Aubin sur Mer in Calvados). Natural and authentic, its coastline is part of the Albâtre Coast, and offers spectacular scenery with its cliffs and long beaches.
There are two beaches in St Aubin sur Mer. Both are next to each other. The main one is located east of the town’s campsite. At low tide, there are one of the largest in Seine Maritime beaches. To the west, there is a more private beach, for those who love peace and quiet.
Skateboarders and kite surfers love it and even have some organised competitions. Many footpaths have also been built around the town, enough to discover the exceptional view, the typically Norman houses and small hidden beaches.
Fishing is undoubtedly the main activity of the village, including shore fishing for mussels, winkles and shrimps that are hiding in the rocks and caught thanks to Pousseaux (local nets)! When the tide goes out, bathers and walkers can enjoy a wide beach used by paragliders, especially on the Saussemare Beach.
Do not leave St. Aubin without having admired the beautiful castle, symbol of the town, and the ancient bread oven for which a big party is organised in the summer, the opportunity to discover the history and the specialities of Normandy!
Nearby St Aubin, we find the beach of Veules the Roses that offers many activities in the summer season and which is also supervised.
