At the port of the swell and along the docks, we find the most central beach of Cancale. Nevertheless, this one is little promised to bathe. At low tide, the sea can retreat very far and at high tide the beach is almost completely covered by water. Moreover, the various oyster beds encumber this magnificent bay. We come here especially to walk with a sea front very well maintained with old fishermen houses (the Houle port was one of the most active for the cod fishery in Newfoundland) and many restaurants where you can enjoy cancalaises (flat oysters). Some games in summer for children on the sand.
To get to this beach follow the signs to the port. Many parkings around the docks (paying).
