Our opinion on the Port Mer Beach
The beach of Port Mer is located north of Cancale at the tip of Chatry. Bordered by some shops, retaurants and two camping, this urban beach of Cancale is very popular during the summer. It is very well equipped with a playground for children on the sand (swings, inflatable structures, …) and a nautical center. Launching wedges (we are in an anchorage area) can allow people with reduced mobility to access the beach (provided they are helped). However, she does not have a first aid station.
To get to this beach from the center of Cancale, take the D201 towards Saint-Malo by the coast then follow the signs for Port-Mer. Difficult parking in high season.

This pleasant beach of Port-Mer offers a beautiful stretch of sand. The area closest to shops and parking is the busiest. On the right, the beach is quieter (we also have a nautical center).
This bay is also a anchorage area.
Along the beach, there are some shops and restaurants.
In the center of the beach, there is a beach club with games for children. We also have launching wedges.
