The beach of Port Picain in Cancale is especially frequented for fishing on foot. At low tide, many rocks can be seen on both sides. Bathing is possible on the left side compared to the boat launch with a small sandy beach. On the other hand, it is not supervised and can be dangerous during rough sea.
This beach is located in the locality of Basse Cancale south of the tip of Chatry. You can reach it by the customs footpath which allows to go to the tip of the Grouin or directly by car by the street of Port Picain (paid parking from May 1st until mid-September).
