Our opinion on the Bas Pouldu Beach
The last Morbihan beach before the Finistère Sud, Guidel’s Bas Pouldu Beach is at the mouth of the Laïta. It is here that the local youth come for their first swim. You can appreciate the vast expanse of fine sand. However, swimming is prohibited at the point (strong currents because the Laïta flows into the ocean), you have to stay in the northern part of the beach. Not supervised inthe summer season, the lifeguard station is on the nearby beach of Falaise.
Several free car parks, an area for camping-cars, a playground for children and a skate park. Also a few restaurants are nearby.

At the mouth of the river Pouldu (Laïta estuary), this beach offers a beautiful sandbar. However, bathing is prohibited due to currents.
Taken from the beach, a beautiful view of the opposite side of Clohars-Carnoët (boat shuttle from the port - 5 minutes crossing).
On the beach, there is a bunker transformed into a seaside bunker (they are painted by Art students of Lorient).
Several accesses to this beach. The first by a few stairs.
The second by a gentle slope on the sand or for children by the slide.
Nearby, there are several restaurants.
There is also a free playground for children.
And a skate park.
Several free car parks are available near the beach.
And a bicycle parking.
