Beaches in Tourgéville (14800) France - advise, map and photos

Bordering the famous Normandy resort of  Deauville, Tourgéville offers a pleasant coastline on the Côte Fleurie shared with the resort of  Bénerville sur Mer in the Pays d’Auge in the department of Calvados. The village is located away from the sea (4.5 km).

In season, Tourgéville is best known for its Clairefontaine racecourse where many Parisian stables compete for horse races (we are wrongly talking about Deauville Racecourse). The large sandy beach of Bénerville sur Mer attracts many summer visitors who want to escape the crowd of Deauville. It is in the continuity of the large beach of  Deauville and extends for several kilometers towards Villers sur Mer.

Little known, this destination on the Normandy coast remains highly appreciated by connoisseurs who find a base near the points of interest of the Côte Fleurie. Cabourg and Houlgate are about fifteen kilometers southwest and Honfleur about 20 km north. Inland is also remarkable with beautiful villas and farms built in wooden thatched roof.
