Bendor Beach is the only sand beach found on the Bendor island (accessible by boat from Bandol's harbor; 10 minute ride; 11.50 euros in 2014). The beach is found next to the harbor and the center of the isle. It is divided into two zones. The right side is private with a restaurant and mattress rentals while the left side is completely public and is facing the Bandol stadium. The atmosphere is very nice, but we don't feel as if we're on an island (Bandol is too close and the main view is of the parking lot).
Since this beach is so small and it's so expensive to get here, we do not consider this beach as one of the most beautiful of the region. We prefer the beaches in Bandol and find that the Ile de Bandol does not attract many tourists.
