To the northeast of Saint-Honorat Island, near the point of Saint-Féréol and the chapel of La Trinité, we find a few little coves of pebblestone and rock. Space to lay one's beach towel is very limited and swimming is impossible without shoes. Only for those seeking solitude, avoid with children.

To reach these coves, follow directions toward l'Est on the northern route (the one facing Sainte-Marguerite Island). At the point, take the road on the left which parallels the chapel of La Trinité. You'll find places to swim on both sides.

On the east point of Saint-Honorat Island, there are a few small coves. Swimming is very difficult (bathing shoes necessary).

To the north of the chapel of La Trinité, there is another little beach mostly on a rock formation.

The chapel of La Trinité is a landmark for finding these coves. The path is found to the left of the chapel.

Next to the chapel, you'll find the cannonball oven from the Batterie des Républicains (constructed in 1793, it was used to shoot red-hot cannonballs from the fire of the oven, whence the expression "tirer à boulets rouges" (literally to shoot red cannonballs; attack or insult violently) -- the range was 2000 meters).
