Our opinion on the South Beach
South Beach in Canet en Roussillon is located along the Promenade Charles Trenet between the beaches Marenda and Mar Estange, near the thalassotherapy center in Canet. This beach does not have a lifeguard or first-aid station. However, it is very nice because it is far from the route. It is therefore difficult to come by car and there is no parking.

To the south of Canet, this of one of the rare areas with no lifeguard.
When there is wind, the sea can become very agitated.
We are at the north end (near downtown) of the Charles Trenet promenade. A few restaurants can be found here. This is a very residential zone.
The promenade ends at the south of the thalassotherapy center.
