Port d'Avall Beach in Collioure - France

This is one of the only beaches where we find sand in Collioure. To the left we can see the Chateau Royal, in the middle is the St-Vincent church bell and on the right is the lighthouse of Collioure.

This beach is narrow and bordered by a pedestrian promenade. Across is the beginning of the Cote Vermeille (Vermeille Coast).

Here is a global view of the beach. We can see the parking lot and the tour Avall on the left.

On the right, at the edge of the beach, is a private beach with mattress rentals, paddle boat rentals and a refreshments bar. There is an access to the water for boats that can double as a handicap ramp.

The advantage of this beach is the slight incline to the water allowing kids to easily play.
