Our opinion on the Nord Beach

Nord Beach in Collioure is located behind St-Vincent Beach between the chapel and Notre Dame des Anges. It is the northernmost beach in Collioure, but is near downtown. It is made up of gravel and we wind stones in the water. This beach is less protected by wind than the other beaches in town. It is located outside of the bay.

You can get here from Notre Dame. Note that on the neighboring beach we find a restaurant and the possibility to rent boats and paddle boats.

Note that dogs are not allowed on this beach (as of 2014).

This beach is the least interesting in town.

This little stone beach is below the dam, allowing access to the promontory of the St-Vincent Chapel. We can see the many stones in the water in this photo. Swim shoes are advised.

This beach is located behind Notre Dame.

This beach is accessible by a ramp behind the church then from rocks.

The beaches of St-Vincent (left) and Nord (right) are located one behind the other.

North beach from chapel St-Vincent - Collioure

On the left is St-Vincent Beach and a private beach and on the right is Nord Beach. We can see Notre Dame in the middle. The photo was taken from the chapel (at the edge of the two beaches). In the background is Port d'Avall Beach.

From the chapel, we have a nice view of the neighborhood Mouré (left) and of the coast. The coastal path was closed in 2014 when we visited. In the background on the right is the coast of d'Argelès sur Mer.
