Our opinion on the Boramar Beach
Boramar Beach is the main beach in Collioure. Located along Boulevard de Boramar (near the tourism office), it is surrounded by the Chateau Royal and the harbor on one side and by the church Notre Dame des Anges on the other. It is the biggest beach in Collioure at a little less than 150 meters long and is made up of a mixture of gravel, sand and dirt. There is a lifeguard in the summer and this beach is handicap accessible.
Thanks to the different small dams and its position in the cove, this beach is protected from wind and is ideal for young children.
This area is for pedestrians and we find several restaurants and bars near the beach. The view of the Bay of Collioure and the Cote Vermeille is lovely.

From this stone beach we have a great view of the Chateau Royal. Along the beach is a pedestrian zone with bars and restaurants.
Behind this beach is the little harbor of Collioure. In the background is Port d'Avall Beach.
On the right we can see Notre Dame des Anges which is located next to this beach. On the right we can see St Vincent Beach.
From this global view, we can see the church in the center and behind is the fort Miradou. In the background we can see the large beaches of Argelès sur Mer that extend for several kilometers.
We find a few cafes and restaurants to the left of this beach. The colored houses bring charm to the town.
In the foreground is the dam of the harbor that protects this beach. It is the departure point for discovering the Cote Vermeille by boat.
In this photo we can see Boramar Beach from the south of town.
Collioure is completely lit up at night. It is worth it to visit this different city.
