Our opinion on the Ponteil Beach
Ponteil beach is located between Old Antibes and Cap d'Antibes, along a beautiful promenade. A large paid car park is available nearby.
Ponteil beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Antibes, with Gravette beach. It is not close to the road, which makes it nice for families with children. The end of the Cap d'Antibes is wider and therefore more enjoyable. Note that this beach has several handiplage accesses. This is a very nice view of the ramparts of Antibes, the old town as well as the Cap d'Antibes.
Water sports are prohibited in this bay, which is completely reserved for swimmers.
There are a few restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as kiosks to eat on the run. A sailing school is available between this beach and Salis beach.
In summer, an area next to the aquatic centre is reserved for disabled people (with a provision of tiralos).
