La Fontonne Beach in Antibes is located near Marineland, La Siesta, close to the railway station of Biot and Villeneuve-Loubet. This wide pebble beach stretches over several hundred meters and is divided into several areas.

The nearest area to La Siesta (near the mouth of La Brague - it can be polluted, one must be careful after heavy rainfall) is supervised in summer. This is the widest and biggest beach. There are snacks in summer.

The central area (at the Fort Carré) has rock fills. The beach is narrow. A lifeguard supervises one part in summer.

The nearest area to the Fort Carré is very narrow. One puts one’s towel down right at the water’s edge. This area is unfrequented.

There are several accesses to this beach. The first one is on the seafront from Antibes in the direction of the Fort Carré. The beach begins 300 meters after it. The second one is along the road under the railroad in the district of La Fontonne just before Marineland and the railway station of Biot (the campsites of Antibes are located in this area). There is a free car park along the beach.

This is the area before the Siesta next to Port Vauban. This is the widest beach with a first aid station in summer. One can see Villeneuve-Loubet in the distance, which is identifiable by its buildings (Marina Baie des Anges).
