This pebble beach, in the east of the Fort Carré, after Antibes in the direction of Villeneuve-Loubet, is the least visited beach in Antibes. It stretches for several kilometres, but the part near the Fort is the largest. The Siesta (a nightclub with a casino), campsites (behind the railway) and Marineland are located in the neighbourhood of La Fontonne. There are snack trucks in summer.
Parking spaces are available along the beach or in front of the Fort Carré (small car park).
Our opinion: This beach offers a beautiful view of the Baie des Anges and the marinas of Villeneuve-Loubet. On the other hand, the proximity of the road (very busy) can be dangerous for young children. The railway track also passes nearby. Many people have barbecues on the beach on summer nights (despite the ban). There are also many fishermen.
