Vendres’ Mimosas Beach is located in the south about 1.5 km from the mouth of the Aude. This large sandy beach is very similar to other beaches of Vendres: sand as far as eye can see with some dunes and a protected environment (campsites are far away). In the summer season, there is a lifeguard station which is located on the left side of the beach (near the first carpark of the Montilles road).
To reach this beach, take the Avenue du Port. The first car park is on the street on the right after Campéoles campsite. The second is on the right just before Sablines campsite on the path of Montilles.
