Our opinion on the Central Beach
Valras’ Central Beach stretches along the boulevard Jean Moulin (after the casino up to the port entrance). It has approximately 1.5 km of fine sand with a lifeguard station in the central part (near Boulevard Michelet). In summer there are many activities (games for children near the port and lifeguard station, there are several areas for beach volley, a sailing school and a club for children) as well as private beaches and restaurants. Next to the port, mats are laid out to facilitate access to the beach for disabled guests.
In summer, parking is quite difficult. There are some parking spaces along the waterfront (one-way street). There is also a small car park inthe port area.

Valras’Central Beach extends from the port to the end of Boulevard Jean Moulin. It has a wide stretch of sand with plenty of activities during the summer season.
Onthe left side of the beach, near the port of Valras and the lifeguard station, there are beach volley courts and a lay area for children (swings).
There is a private beach near the Beach Volley courts.
During the summer season, mats are laid in place to facilitate access to the beach for people with disabilities. We're on the right of the lifeguard station at rue Frédéric Mistral.
Here we have a view of the harbour and Valras breakwater, from this sandy beach.
We are at the centre of Boulevard Jean Moulin. On the left, there are several breakwaters that allow safe swimming areas in the summer.
