Piriac sur Mer’s Lerat Beach is located at the exit of La Turballe about 2 km from the centre of Piriac. This beach stretches in a beautiful sandy cove for about 400 meters. There are two swimming areas, the first on the side of the small port of Lérat and the second towards the cove of Belmont. Both are separated by a few rocks on the beach.
Access to the beach is via stairs or by a sandy access from the harbour side (accessible for people with reduced mobility). There is also a lifeguard station in the summer. A picnic area is available on the harbour side.
