Piriac sur Mer’s Closio beach is located at the exit of the seaside resort between the St-Michel beach and the Castelli point. This beach is divided into three zones. The nearest part of the Semaphore is made of sand, that of the centre is in pebbles and the part on the left (called Chatousseau) is composed of rocks. From this last one, there is a beautiful view on Piriac and its city centre beach. You can just about see the semaphore from this beach.
To reach this beach from the port of Piriac, take the coastal trail via the St-Michel beach (on the left, about 200 meters from the end). It is also accessible by car via the rue du Closio (which runs alongside the rue du Chatousseau).
