Great Cliff beach in La Turballe (or Croix de l’anse beach) is located south of the port of the seaside resort and stretches to Pen-Bron and its protected nature area. There are dunes all along this beach (2 km long). The wildest part is in the forest. There are many tourist facilities in the area closest to the city centre. In summer, this beach is monitored in Les Chardons Bleus campsite. You can practice windsurfing on this beach outside the swimming areas.
To get to this beach from La Turballe harbour, take the direction of Pen-Bron. At the city limits on the D92, take Great Cliff Boulevard. There is a car park on the left 1 km away, at the campsite and the VVF centre. In front of it, a road goes between the tourist structures and gives access to the beach (500 meters away). The train also provides access to this beach.
