Our opinion on the Hulot Beach
Saint-Nazaire’s Monsieur Hulot Beach is located in the seaside resort of Saint-Marc-sur-Mer (in the district of St Nazaire about 7 km from the city centre). This beach was made famous by the film of Jacques Tati's Mr Hulot's Holiday. This beautiful sandy beach is overlooked by the bronze statue of Mr Hulot. On the right, is a beach club for children. It is supervised in the summer season and is accessible for people with reduced mobility (Handiplage award).
To get to this beach from the centre of St-Nazaire, follow the D92 towards Pornichet. At the Océanis roundabout, turn left towards St-Marc sur Mer (the beach is indicated from here). Follow the road for 2.5 km. The beach is at the end (free parking).
