Our opinion on the La Baule Beach
La Baule beach stretches on 5 km along the main road and the nearby towns of Pornichet in the east and Pouliguen in the west to form a huge sandy beach 7 km long.
There are monitoring stations open in summer all along this beach. There are also 4 aid stations (Concorde Avenue, General de Gaulle Avenue, Saumur Avenue and Leo Delibes Avenue). There are also many beach clubs for children, sailing centers and private beaches.
This beach is also well equipped for disabled people. There is an arranged access at the various aid stations.
Parking is very difficult during summer; it is recommended to take bicycles to move around (bicycle path along the beach). On the other hand, it is a shame that that the road borders the majority of this long beach (only the west part along Benoit esplanade is pedestrian - Benoit beach).
