Grande Plage in Saint-Nazaire - France

We are at the start of the Grande Plage Beach of St Nazaire, near the port. The greatest stretch of sand found in this area.

On the left side of this beach, there is a ramp allowing access for people with reduced mobility.

Directly on the sand, there is a children’s play area.

On the left, you can see the statue of “Sammy” (bronze eagle carrying an American soldier on his back it is also called the American monument. – Reproduction, as the original was destroyed).

We are just in front of Sammy (statue) that marks the limit between the beaches of Petit and Grand Traict.

On the beach of Grand Traict (centre). In the distance, we can see the port of St Nazaire.
