Saint Nazaire’s Grande Plage Beach extends along the streets of Verdun, President Wilson and Albert 1st. The part next to the outer harbour is called the Little Traict Beach (eastern part) and the western part of the Grand Traict Beach. The two zones are separated by a bronze statue (area where there are some rocks at low tide). There are more than 2 miles of fine sand.
On the beach of Petit Traict, there is a children’s play area. On Grand Traict Beach, west, we begin to see the many fisheries that extend as far as St Marc (see photos).
In the summer season, parking is not easy. There are a few places along the various streets.
