Batz sur Mer’s Govelle Beach is renowned for fun boarding. Located between the rocks of the Côte Sauvage, there is a vast expanse of sand (about 350 meters) supervised in the summer season. Access is easy, there is parking at the beach. On both ends, there are small coves. This is one of the two great beaches of Batz.
To get to this beach from the centre of Batz sur Mer, take the D45 (Route de la Côte Sauvage) towards Pouliguen. 2 km further on, the beach is signposted on the right (it is at the edge of the road). Several restaurants and snack-bars are available nearby.
