Our opinion on the Batterie Beach
The public beach of Villeneuve-Loubet, Battery Beach, is located east of the Marinas Baie des Anges (towards Cagnes sur Mer) and extends to the Bouches du Loup Beach.
A paying car park is available in July and August and is free for the rest of the year. It is situated on the boulevard Eric Tabarly (accessible from the main road just after Quick coming from Antibes). The area equipped for people with reduced mobility is located at the opposite end of the marinas. It is accessible by the Allée de la Plage (after the Casino supermarket coming from Antibes on the right) but unfortunately we only found one reserved parking space.
This beach is the most pleasant of Villeneuve-Loubet because it is located away from the road. It consists only of boulders and you can find some private beaches with restaurants. Also a beach volleyball court near to the parking.
Note there is a nice walk to Cagnes sur Mer via the seafront away from the road.

Heading towards Cagnes sur Mer, this beach extends to the Loup. It includes several areas with private beaches, a sailing centre and a jet-ski hire.
The nearest part to Marinas’ Battery Beach offers a beautiful view of the harbour.
