Sublime landscape! Close to the German battery of Longues sur Mer (we're on the landing beaches), we find Falaises Beach which is a completely different to the majority of the nearby beaches of Calvados. Green and untamed atmosphere thanks to the cliffs. At low tide, this beach reveals its beauty with its sandbanks interspersed with pebbles in a green setting. Love at first sight! At high tide, the beach is only pebbles.
Generally, people come to walk although some regulars come to swim. Please note that dogs are allowed on this beach.
To go to this beach, follow the direction for Batterie de Longues (and the tourist office which is next to it). Continue on the road towards the sea. Small winding road with some parking spaces before reaching the beach.
