Our opinion on the Cap Cabourg Beach
Cap Cabourg Beach is the easternmost beach in the seaside destination (the closest to the mouth of Dives and Houlgate). Near avenue Pasteur, we find a first-aid station and a kids beach club. Going further to the right, after the descent zone for boats, we fin a wild beach bordered by dunes. This zone is preserved, but there is no lifeguard present during the summer (access this beach from avenue Durand Morimbau).
To get here, follow directions for port de Plaisance and Cap Cabourg. We find places to park here.
Note that is is possible to practice sand yachting on this beach.

We are at first-aid station number 5 near the Cap Cabourg residence. In the background we start to see Houlgate.
From the beach, we can join downtown Cabourg. The Marcel Proust promenade is agreeable.
At the end of avenue Pasteur, we find a little parking lot bordering the beach.

Going further from the lifeguarded zone on the right, we arrive to a more wild beach with the famous dunes that extend to the mouth of the Dives.
From this beach, we have a nice view of the seafront of Cabourg.
