Argonautes Beach in Port-Barcarès is the first beach in the department Pyrenees-Orientales coming from the beaches of Aude. Located near downtown, this large sand beach has a lifeguard station open in the summer (post number 1). It is bordered by the allee des Arts which allows us to join downtown.
This beach is in a residential area made up of buildings. It is very difficult to find parking in the summer. The best way to park is in the lot at Place des Paquebot des Sables then to go north on avenue des Arts.
