Two Jumeaux Beach in Hendaye is located in the north of this seaside destination (near the Corniche and St Jean de Luz). This large sand beach is the continuation of Grande Beach. It is handicap accessible with a lot of equipment (ramp, special rug, tents to protect from sun, flotation devices, lifeguard station). This beach is ideal for families since a slope into the sea makes a shallow area for swimming.
This beach owes its name to the rocks visible to the right of the beach. There is a lifeguard in season. Note that the closest part to the two rocks (end of the beach) is reserved for nudists (good reputation, families, many Spaniards).
There are a few parking places along the Boulevard de la Mer, but its rare to find a spot. There are also places along rue d'Armatonde where a parking lot is available.
