Saint-Coulomb is a small seaside destination in Brittany in France, located between Saint-Malo and Cancale on the Emerald Coast north of Rothéneuf.
We find four pretty fine sand beaches in Saint-Coulomb and natural protected sites. Anse du Guesclin is a little paradise bordered by dunes, between the point Nid and Grands Nez. We can admire the shore to the east of a little island where Léo Ferré lived and is accessible at low tide.
Several hiking trails allow us to join Touesse Beach, but swimmers who search space and tranquility prefer Guimorais Beach, along the dunes of Chevrets, the perfect place to observe the local faun and flora.
The village Saint-Coulomb is full of history and possesses a rich heritage that deserves to be discovered. The little streets hide pretty terraces and give the occasion to take a break and try the regional gastronomy – maybe crepes for example!
It is ideal to visit the coastline, starting with Saint-Briac-sur-Mer which is also called the pearl of the Emerald Coast. The beaches of Saint Malo are not far and the old city is very nice.
In Saint-Coulomb, dogs are not allowed on the beaches from 15th June to 15th September from 10am to 8pm (they are allowed before 10am and after 8pm). The city's orders are enforced for all the beaches in the city.
