Our opinion on the Oasis Beach
Oasis Beach of Aiguillon sur Mer is located towards Aiguillon Point. This sandy beach is lined with a few dunes. It is not supervised and has ample parking. From this beach, you have a beautiful view of the Ile de Ré and of La Rochelle.
To find this beach from the centre of the Aiguillon, take the direction for the point by the Grande Jetée road. The beach is at the level of the old restaurant l'Oasis (sign still there).

It is the first sandy beach in the direction of Aiguillon Point.
On the left, you can see some dunes on this beach of Aiguillon sur Mer. They are more visible in the photo below.
In this photo, on the left, you see La Rochelle, in the centre, the bridge of the Ile de Ré and on the right, the Ile de Ré with La Flotte and Saint-Martin-de-Ré.
Access to this beach is easy (slight slope).
On the other side of the beach is the restaurant of the Oasis. It has been closed since the storm Xynthia.
