Marquet beach in Cap d’Ail is the closest beach to Monaco (Fontvieille district) and the most accessible beach of Cap d’Ail with a car park nearby. This beach stretches for 200 metres and is covered in sand and a few pebbles. There is a nautical centre as well as two bars and restaurants. At the end (nearest part to the port) there is also a beach volleyball court. This is the most popular beach in Cap d’Ail.
This beach provides access to disabled people through an access ramp next to the car park. To get to this car park, you have to go through Monaco and Saint Louis Stadium (Castellans avenue) then take Marquet Avenue (the car park is at the end of the avenue). Alternatively, you can take the Coquille stairs from Churchill Avenue (narrow street, difficult to find a parking space).
There is also a large sandy beach in Monaco nearby, which is monitored and has many facilities.
