Pissarelles Beach in Cap-d'Ail - France

Upon arrival, you have a bird’s eye view of Pisarelles beach, which is covered in large rocks with small pebbles and sand banks.

This beach is divided into several areas. On the stairs to the left, underneath a house, you can put your towel on concrete slab (very narrow) or on stairs.

The surroundings are well built because we are below a subdivision. On the other hand, the view is not generally direct on this beach.

The area on the right is identical with big rocks. On the other hand, this area is quickly in the shade in the afternoon because of the cliffs. There is a source close to the house.

We get an overview of Pissarelles beaches (on the left of the picture) and Mala (on the right of the picture - there are restaurants) from the beach of St Laurent d'Eze,

Access to the beach is not indicated; follow our instructions carefully to find it (many people mistake it for the beach in St Laurent d'Eze, located just 100 meters away). Coming from Eze, you must pass Cap d'Ail panel.

You can reach Pissarelles subdivision through the car centre (there are a few places to park along the road).

You can reach the domain on foot through the gate.

The beach is located below (under the pool); you have to go down, a 10-minute walk from the gate. You get a view stretching as far as Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat in this picture.

Access is via a steep paved road with a steep descent (pedestrian access only because it is in a private domain).

Then you arrive at the last house. There is a trail from where you can reach the beach in the back, between the gate and the cliff.

It ends in a set of stairs.
