Our opinion on the West Beach
West beach of Fouras (or Big Beach) is the busiest beach. It is located in the city center, between Fort Vauban and the casino of Fouras, along a beautiful pedestrian promenade. There are several restaurants and you can rent beach cabins.
Access is facilitated by ramps (beach below the seaside promenade). It offers a magnificent view of Fort Vauban which defines this beach. The island Madame and the island of Aix is in front of this beach.
It is the favorite beach of Plages.tv in Fouras.
Note that this beach is monitored in July and August and that you can practice windsurfing and kite flying outside the summer period.
Note that a natural bathing area is available at low tide.
