The beach of Prunete in Cervione is located about 5 kms from the village in the place la Prunete classified natura 2000 (dunes of Prunete-Canniccia). This long sandy beach stretches for several kilometers along the east coast (Costa Verde at this level) to the marsh of Canniccia in the south. The environment is preserved if we get away from the main acces with maquis bordering. Some campsites are scattered around this beach. There are also a sailing center and a hut near the parking as well as some shops in the hamlet of Prunette. To note that dogs on a leash are tolerated.
To get to this beach coming from Bastia, follow the N198 to the junction for Cervione on the D71. At this level, you must turn left (sign indicating the sea as well as the annexed town hall and campsites). The beach is located at the end of the dead end (small parking at the end on the left or next to the road).
