Grande Plage Beach is in the centre of Carnac. There are two kilometres of sand between the port and Churchill Point. In the central part, there is a lifeguard station and access is equipped for people with reduced mobility (floor mats). The left half is bordered by some small dunes that block the view of the road. This is the most interesting and quieter area. On the right, the beach is also nice but the proximity of the road can be disturbing (especially with children). Some beautiful villas along this beach.
Access to this beach is by the D186. There are parking spaces along the road.
