Crevasse Cove, a small cove located north of Equihen at the beginning of the wild coast, is accessible at low tide and offers a totally wild environment under the cliffs of Equihen on the way to Cape Alprech. It is a hot spot for collecting mussels (free collection, limited to 5 kg per person – however, fewer were found in recent years). One also comes there to swim in summer. The sandy beach is narrow and one has to be careful because landslides may occur. Attendance is significant in high season. One can reach Ningles Cove northward (more mussels but it is secluded...).
To get to this cove, take rue Charles Cazin. Turn left just before the roundabout at the tobacco office (sign for the camper area). Take the road on the right hand side to the end. There is a free car park (barrier restricting height upon arrival).
