Our opinion on the Casernes Beach
Casernes Beach in Seignosse is located north of the seaside resort. This large sandy beach is unfrequented as it is far from the city center. However, it has a wild setting. In season, there are a few surf schools and a monitoring station.
Note that there is a nudist area 400 meters north of the aid station. However, it is prohibited to swim in this area.
To reach this beach, take the direction of Souston by the D79. Follow the road for 2.5 km then turn left on the D337 (Casernes is indicated). After the campsite, there is a big free car park under the pine trees in the shade. The beach is easily accessible by a path (about 500 meters on foot).

This beach north of Seignosse is a famous surf spot (there are several schools). The environment is preserved and the beach is quickly wild.
There is an area where naturism is tolerated towards Soustons (400 meters north of the access – a sign indicates it, however it is forbidden to swim in this area).
This is a monitoring area.
There is a beach access here (the beach is about 500 meters from the car park).
After the campsite, there is a large free car park (a bit far from the beach).
At the car park, there is a barrier blocking the beach access for vehicles.
