Portissol Beach in Sanary-sur-Mer is one of the busiest beaches in the summer season; it is also one of the most beautiful in Sanary. Located in the Bay of Portissol, near the city centre, on this beautiful stretch of sand there is a lifeguard station to the left of the beach along with ladders to make the access to the sea easier for divers. Access for people with reduced mobility is catered for.
Portissol Beach is also a famous surf spot, frequent strong wind (Mistral).
To get to this beach from the centre of Sanary, take avenue de Portissol. There is a free car park above the beach (difficult to park in the summer season). It takes only a few minutes on foot to access it from the city centre.There are several restaurants on and around the beach.
