Bechay beach in Saint-Briac-sur-Mer is the nearest beach to the center of the seaside resort. This sandy beach is located in a well protected cove (it comes out especially of anchorage area) and offers one of the most beautiful views on the bay of Saint-Briac (we have a view to the tip of the rock of Lancieux).
This beach is not supervised (unlike its neighbor a few hundred meters away). On the right side, there is access for people with reduced mobility. Beautiful view of the castle of Nessay which contributes to the charm of this beach with boats.
To get to this beach from Lancieux, the easiest way is to follow the D786 towards Saint-Lunaire then turn left towards the harbor and the beach. Free parking.

From this beach we have a magnificent view of the bay of Saint-Briac. In the background, in the center of the photo, we can see the bridge that reaches Lancieux.

On the right side, we have a nice view of the castle of Nessay (built in the late 19th century, representative of the architecture of the Emerald Coast of the time – private property).
