Alga Beach in Calvi is located in the Gulf of Revellata and offers a wild yet vehicle-accessible setting (quite difficult trail). The view of the Gulf and the different peaks is magnificent, with crystal clear water and gently sloping swimming. It is advisable to arrive early, especially in summer because it is relatively small (about 100 meters long). Note the presence of a hut (this is the only one in the Gulf). To get to this beach from Calvi, take the D81B towards Ajaccio. When you are at the beginning of the Gulf of Revellata (the magnificent aerial view is hard to miss), turn right towards Porto and Ajaccio. Access to the beach is 50 meters further on the right (path between two stone pillars just after a small roadside car park). The trail descends towards the beach (drive slowly, track moderately suitable for vehicles) where there is a small car park nearby.
