Our opinion on the Serre Beach
Serre Beach in Cagnes sur Mer is located after the mouth of the Cagne and extends toward Cros de Cagnes. The westernmost part is not the most agreeable due to the presence of a water purifying plant. The Cagne pours into this zone, so you should avoid swimming after a storm, or verify the quality of the water at the lifeguard station.
It is difficult to find parking. Coming from Villeneuve-Loubet, we advise you to park on a road perpendicular to the beach.
We find a few private beaches in this area where restaurants are generally open during the year.

We are at the beginning of this beach in Cagnes sur Mer. There are rather large stones here.
We find a shower on this beach.
There are two private beaches with restaurants on this beach. In the background we can see the marinas of Villeneuve-Loubet.
After the first restaurant, we can see a new public beach. The stones are a bit smaller but we are getting closer to the wastewater treatment plant!
We are between the second restaurant and the beach and the harbor. The water treatment plant is nearby.
Next to the mouth of the Cagne, is the water treatment plant. For now, the odors are brought here. Note that this should disappear by 2014. The treated waters are sent out at 300 meters into the sea.
