Landsberg Beach in Saint Laurent du Var is situated between the Flots Bleus Promenade and Cap and 3000. This beach has artificial grey sand (normally pebbles but it is covered with sand at the beginning of the summer season) and is protected by several dikes. The shallow water (because of the sediments from the Var) is great for children.
There is a lifeguard station on the right side of the beach in the summer season. On the left side, it is possible to practice windsurfing.
This beach is one of the finest of Saint-Laurent-du-Var. However, the mouth of the Var is nearby and this beach has often been closed in previous years because of the treatment plant (it was repaired). But after heavy rain, check the water quality.
Parking is quite difficult in the summer season. There are places on the Avenue du Ponant with underground parking. You can also park near Cap 3000.
