Our opinion on the Pin de Galle Beach
The beach at Pin de Galle Pine of Pradet is the first beach of the resort coming from Toulon. At the end of the street of General Weygand (accessible from Toulon by taking a right at the first traffic light at the entrance of Pradet), free parking is available on the top of the beach. From there, beautiful view of the beach, of a barge in the water and of the peninsula of St Mandrier. Access to the beach can be done either by stairs on the left (but with steep stairs to take breaks) or a sloping path to the right. Note that the beach is narrow but the setting is very picturesque (going in small alleys with many huts before arriving on the beach). In summer, a snack restaurant on the right.
This beach is supervised in the summer season and is very popular. The right side is composed of many buildings with an area where there are few colourful boats. The left side is more untamed (especially at the end of the beach).

This is the left side of Pin de Galle Beach. You can see in the background many huts that provide a certain charm to this beach.
From this beach, you have a beautiful view over the Bay of Toulon and the peninsula of St Mandrier.
On the left, beautiful view of the Cap de Carqueiranne where we find some interesting tracks (behind the cap).
Original environment for this Pradet beach bordered by pines and the Cape of Carqueiranne in the background.
At the end of the beach, there is a small restaurant on the water side.
Colourful boatsand sheds you can really feel in Provence on this beach of the Pradet.
We can see in this picture the many huts of the beach in Le Pradet.
In the summer season, it is possible to rent a hut (book early).
The view of the beach from Pin de Galle is beautiful. In the centre, a concrete platform in the sea which is very popular in the summer (even if access is forbidden). To the right in the background, the peninsula of St Mandrier is visible.
