Cousteau Beach of Saint-Laurent-du-Var (also called beach of Cap 3000) is a continuation of the Landsberg Beach below the shopping centre Cap 3000. It extends to the mouth of the Var (which is frequently a source of pollution). Since 2014, this beach has been covered with grey sand (especially in the area closest to the Landsberg walk). Nevertheless, there are always areas with pebbles. The beach is supervised in the summer season.
It is possible to practice kitesurfing at the various beaches of this area (be careful, prohibited in the 300 m zone from April 15 to October 15).
Parking is quite difficult in this area. There are a few places along the avenue Cousteau (below the shopping centre).
