Our opinion on the Cavalas Beach
Cavalas Beach in St Mandrier sur Mer is located on the southwestern part of the peninsula. This little stone beach is located at the end of the public zone (the end of the peninsula belongs to the military). This beach does not have a lifeguard, but has an emergency calling station.
This beach is accessible by the coastal path from Coudoulière in an easy fifteen minutes.

Made of rocks and stones, this beach is the wildest in Saint Mandrier.
The concrete blocks in the middle of the beach correspond to mini submarine spears used by the Germans during the second World War. These blocs amuse kids in the summer.
